The site of Keraton Gunung Tabur and the site of Keraton Sambaliung as well Makam Raja(The Funeral of King) | Print |

They are located at the river bank of berau River. So these Kingdom cross each other side of the river.

The site of Keraton Gunung Tabus was legitimated as the Museum of Berau. Besides, there is the funeral of Gunung Tabur King, Mosque, and Arabic school. The collection are: throne, beds, canons, ceramics, etc.

We can go to this place by aero plane (samarinda-Tanjung Redeb), than continue with small boat (keinting).

Located at Talisayan Sub district, at Batu Putih Hills. Batu Putih tourism object of hunting. The hunted animals are:deer, wild oxen, pigs, and small antelopes.

This location can be reached be aero plane (samarinda-Tanjung Redeb), then by boat to Batu Putih Village, Talisayan Sub district. During the drought, this location can be reached by landroad to Tanjung Redeb.

 
Maritime Tourism Object Derawan Island and Sangalaki Island | Print |

Both of these island are at Derawan Island and Subdistrict. Sangalaki Island is about an hour travel by Speed boat to Derawan island, the orther island are: Panjang island, Menumbar island, Kakaban island, Semama Island, Sambit Island, Bakungan Island, nunukan Island, Maratua Island.

Waters around the land have very beautiful coral, various kinds of decording fish, dugong fish, canary crab, green turtle, natural pearl.

The waters of these islands are very potential, and according to expert the Derawan Island are the third in beauty, with the biodiversity, in the world.

Since 1993 Derawan Island was managed by PT. Bhumi Manimbora Intherbhuana with the following facilities: cottages, swimming pool, diving tools, speed boat, etc.

While Sangalaki Island is managed by PT. Sangalaki, with the facilities: conttage, restaurant, diving tools, speed boat, etc. the rate of staying the night is per person (only accommodation).
